The I AM COMMITTED campaign was initiated by Hamilton Community Legal Clinic/Clinique juridique communautaire de Hamilton (HCLC).  We are a not-for-profit organization serving low income residents of Hamilton.  In 2013 we established YÉN:TENE
(Mohawk for “you and I will go there together”), an Indigenous justice initiative that strives to build relationships between the Clinic and the Indigenous community.  Our efforts to build relationships of trust are based on collaborations. In particular, we are working with the Professional Aboriginal Advocacy and Networking Group (PAANG) on the two phases of this outreach and education campaign, I AM AFFECTED and I AM COMMITTED.
